The Vegvisir is a symbol known to bring good luck, it is also called the Nordic compass. A compass that doesn't point north, but which should guide us in our daily lives so that we always arrive at our destination.

Around the Vegivsir you will see the runes of the Futhark, the Scandinavian alphabet of the time. Know that each rune has a strong meaning.

We are talking here about a very popular symbol among the Vikings, the Vegvisir compass also called the Vegvisir compass. This symbol represents protection and ... I'll give you the ORIENTATION!!

It is said that a Viking wearing the Vegvisir always arrives at his destination, no matter what pitfalls and journeys await him, he will make it ... In other words, you can lose both legs, your arms, your tongue and your eyes ... YOU WILL ARRIVE HOME!

So it's pretty simple, this symbol is found just about everywhere ... On longships, people's skin, shields and so on.

This compass has 8 branches, which could represent the cardinal (north, south, east, west) and inter cardinal (northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast) directions.

So, as you can see, the problem is that the symbol being fixed. We don't have the needle that points north.
